AMI Operations Technical Lead

Provide support to the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) operations group. Supply the technical expertise on all of the applications used in the information systems utilized by the AMI Operations group. Applications administrator for the various metering support applications.

- Responsible for the daily technology operations associated with connectivity, application-setup, configuration, and administration of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system.

- Provide technical leadership in meeting the needs of the AMI operations group and serve as the liaison to PPL's ISD organization.

Managed a team of 2 C&I Planners as well as the 3 Residential Planners in a continuous effort to maximize installation efficiency for a field crew of 100 Installers.

Educated the team in all forms of advanced meters which monitor the utility’s largest revenue stream.

Supported the project team in planning and scheduling 1 Million installation jobs single handedly. Trained and helped oversee 3 assistant planners to meet the installation goal of 2.1 Million within the contractual guidelines.

Planned daily work for 110 field meter technicians (6 work days/week)

Coordinated the logistics of 6 truck fleet operating in 8 remote sites.

Provided information for 64-person warehouse team to create the work packages for remote distribution.

Matched a blend of appointments and non-appointments with the skill set of each technician as well as the available inventory to maximize efficiency.
