mothballed $3B project for Micron Semiconductor.
• Served as Lead Piping / Mechanical Designer for a MicroStation Design team of 20 to 30

options and evaluated ROI, cost benefit analysis, and evaluated and implemented
collaboration options for CAD systems software for the project’s utilization on a dual shore
design project effort.
• Led an AutoCAD team responsible for the design of the Blizzard Beach water park for

piping and equipment contained inside. General arrangement 3D PDS models of process
equipment and piping for glove boxes on the ITER international fusion reactor project.
Production of as-built 3D models of other nuclear process equipment and piping for the Tritium
plant at the US Department of Energy's Savanah River Site. PDS 3D modeling of complex
process equipment and 2D fabrication drawings for process vessels and other equipment
components.

Employed as a Sr. HVAC Designer to develop 3D Models for HVAC equipment & ductwork for a
large US Department of Energy facility in Oak Ridge TN. All of the Process Exhaust system
was modeled in Bentley PSDS 3D using Schedule 10S Piping Specifications. Responsible for
supply, return, and process exhaust systems in different areas of this major 6 Billion dollar
facility. Participated in the production of P&ID and V&ID (HVAC) drawings for the systems
assigned. Performed inter discipline coordination of process systems as required to develop this
detailed and highly complex 3D model including resolution of inter-discipline clash reports.

Sr. PDS PEHVAC and PDS Piping Designer
Employed as a Sr. Intergraph PDS & PEHVAC Designer to complete the HVAC design package
for contract bid and followed by the fabrication and construction issue. Performed 3D modeling
along with extraction into 2D plan drawings and annotation for issue. Responsible for supply
and exhaust systems in different areas of this major facility. Produced P&ID documents for
systems within scope. Other duties included PDS Piping design per ASME B31.3 and ISO
extraction using ISOGEN. Performed clash reporting and resolution along with inter discipline
coordination of process systems. In the drawing issue process performed and led CAD
operators utilizing ORTHOGEN for extraction of PDS HVAC 3D models into orthogonal
drawings for annotation and issue. The HVAC Drawing package contained more than 900
orthogonal sheets.
