Responsibilities

To follow and implement the system of ISO 9001:2008(Quality), ISO EMS 14001:2004(Environment)& OHSAS 18001:2007(safety)

Inspects, supervises, recommends, assists, prepares, participates, reviews, analyzes the Activities with reccomented HSE plan and procedures

Monitors improvements through the preparation and implementation of HSE Audits and Inspections.

Develops periodical HSE reports; Conducts safety & communication meetings, Assists in risk & impact assessment such as controlling risks, doing root cause analysis & prepare other procedures such as: permit to work, emergency & confined space procedures; Conducts scaffolding inspection, excavation, electrical safety, MSDS, fire prevention and environmental protection proactive measurements & cost effective plans

Conducts safety & environmental inspection & audits. Ensures a safe work on environment & performs as required by advising employees about safe work practices & health /safety management systems; Inspects machineries, equipment, workplaces & ensuring suitable protective equipment such as Hearing Protection, Dust Pollution Protection and standard PPE.

Ensures workplaces comply with health and safety legislation & investigating complaints, serious harm incidents and accidents.

Organizing Tool Box Meeting to emphasis and discuss safety procedures of the project and carry out accident investigation and implementation of corrective actions.

Perform safety inspections of safety system, fire/safety/lifesaving equipment to ensure incident and injury free working environment and prepare records.

Ensure the Health Safety & Environmental matters and risk assessment related to construction activities and examining job safety analysis and permit to work system.

Reporting and investigation of accidents, incidents and near misses and ensure disciplinary action to safety violations that unnecessarily exposes themselves/other personnel into injury or property damage.

Attend and organize various review meetings.

Site Induction Training to all employees & workforce.

Supervising good housekeeping.

Inspecting fire extinguishers, PPEs and full body harness.

Attending Training meeting with main contractor and client.

Monitoring and evaluate safety performance of all employees.

Providing advice and assistance on safety training matters to higher authorities.

Scheduling of Training program for all company employees.

Conduct emergency Mock Drills and Emergency Evacuation Procedure

Environment

Monitoring effluent treatment plant and sewage treatment plant effectively

Take part in environmental pollution prevention programs, solid waste management and promote safety awareness to the workforce through HSE meetings/trainings.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor of electronics and instrumentation from Anna University, Chennai.

Professional Qualification

NEBOSH Certified

IOSH (Institute Of Occupational Safety &Health) Certified.

Diploma in Industrial safety from Annamalai University.

BSS Advance Diploma in occupational safety, health and environment management
