Lead the technical publications and training department, while retaining several hands-on projects.

Designed the curriculum for a three-stage client training offered during the implementation phase. The training included instructor-led classes and results in Delphi certification.

Designed both internal and external instructor-led training courses, including product definition, security, etc. The training suite included several computer-based courses created using Adobe Captivate. Managed additional customer training requests and on-site training schedule.

Designed, created and maintained a complete suite of documentation in WebHelp format (for a total of 14 projects).

Lead the UI initiative ensuring ease of use and consistency of the UI across the subsystems.

Managed Delphi's document management system. Used SharePoint to control the entire backlog of Delphi's technical documentation.

Designed and maintained Delphi's Intranet pages for Development, QA and Technical Publications. Ensured that the Intranet pages contained dynamic information by integrating Intranet with the enhancement and defect reporting tools.

Managed Delphi Customer Forum, a one stop hub for all things Delphi. The Forum allows customers to access product documentation, discuss their issues with Delphi staff and other clients, etc. The Forum proved to be an excellent way to cut down on technical support calls. 2005 AIR Worldwide Boston, MA

Technical Documentation Consultant

Designed and produced a complete suite of technical documentation that covered all aspects of research and development, including development environment, database structure, data verification, etc. The goal was to satisfy the external audit requirements of the Florida Hurricane Commission, which guaranteed AIR Worldwide a first-rate place in the U.S. probabilistic catastrophe modeling technology market. Successfully completed the project in record time, earning honorable mention from the Florida Hurricane Commission members.

Technical Documentation Manager

Developed processes and methodologies. Implemented version control and single-source procedures for all end-user documentation in a multi-platform environment. Was solely responsible for designing and managing a single source approach, i.e., developing information objects that can be reused across product with or without minor content changes. Managed the Technical Writing department's move from traditional to single source approach to documentation. Used FrameMaker's conditional text and variables features to design reusable documentation blocks.

Led a team of technical writers responsible for technical documentation for over twenty software products.

Participated in formalizing processes for a newly created Business Analysis team. Allocated 30 per cent of my time to business analysis work.

Initiated and started the process of internationalization and localization to be applied to the new state-of- the-art product. Researched all aspects of internationalization and localization. Wrote technical specifications regarding I18N and L10N. Researched I18N and L10N companies and initiated contact with project managers.

Participated in the company-wide project of formalizing processes for CMI certification, as well as for the country-wide Streamlined Sales Tax Project. Designed and implemented formal procedures and performance metrics.

Used Rational suite of products, including integrated tools for requirements management, use case development, business modeling, data modeling, and version control.

Wrote, edited and proofread Taxware documentation. Developed on-line help projects for Taxware products using RoboHELP and RoboHTML. Developed manuals as PDFs.
