Lead the technical publications and training department, while retaining several hands-on projects.
Designed the curriculum for a three-stage client training offered during the implementation phase. The training included instructor-led classes and results in Delphi certification.
Designed both internal and external instructor-led training courses, including product definition, security, etc. The training suite included several computer-based courses created using Adobe Captivate. Managed additional customer training requests and on-site training schedule.
Designed, created and maintained a complete suite of documentation in WebHelp format (for a total of 14 projects).
Lead the UI initiative ensuring ease of use and consistency of the UI across the subsystems.
Managed Delphi's document management system. Used SharePoint to control the entire backlog of Delphi's technical documentation.
Designed and maintained Delphi's Intranet pages for Development, QA and Technical Publications. Ensured that the Intranet pages contained dynamic information by integrating Intranet with the enhancement and defect reporting tools.
Managed Delphi Customer Forum, a one stop hub for all things Delphi. Designed and produced a complete suite of technical documentation that covered all aspects of research and development, including development environment, database structure, data verification, etc. The goal was to satisfy the external audit requirements of the Florida Hurricane Commission, which guaranteed AIR Worldwide a first-rate place in the U.S. probabilistic catastrophe modeling technology market. Successfully completed the project in record time, earning honorable mention from the Florida Hurricane Commission members.

Developed processes and methodologies. Implemented version control and single-source procedures for all end-user documentation in a multi-platform environment. Was solely responsible for designing and managing a single source approach, i.e., developing information objects that can be reused across product with or without minor content changes. Managed the Technical Writing department's move from traditional to single source approach to documentation. Used FrameMaker's conditional text and variables features to design reusable documentation blocks.
