Project Overview: Avantgarde &Tuff Offshore (A&T) has been awarded the contract to construct Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) facility for the South Pars Oil Layer project by PEDCO. The scope of contractor is to install Riser Balcony at Well Head Platform (WHP) of SPOL A2, 12 point mooring system of FPSO Cyrus and then hook up completion work of the flexible risers from FPSO in the South Pars Oil Field, 100Km off the coast of Iran.
The Mooring system configuration comprises of 12 mooring lines (820m of chains Ø124mm stud less R4 with 27T MA5P Mooreast Anchor each) laid in spread moored manner (3 lines per cluster X 4 clusters) at a distance of 750m from the chain stoppers onboard the FPSO. Length of the Mooring lines will be 820m in all from the fairlead with symmetrical anchor pattern, with an angular difference of 5 with each other. The FPSO will be positioned at 315 (clockwise to Global North), at a distance of 100m from the WHP SPOL A2 existing structure in the field.
The Flexible Risers & Umbilical will be installed between the WHP (SPOL A2) platform and the FPSO.

Project Management & Responsibility:
Review all NDT (RT, UT, PT and MT) results and approving final results for repairs and review the results of advanced NDT such as IRIS, ET and MFL and recommend correct mitigation action. With ageing of field, condition of some its existing pipeline has deteriorated.Planing for replacement of these pipeline. Scope of work includes laying completion of 39 segments, 208.8km including Rigid & Flexible Pipelines.
Rigid Riser with varying diameter from 6”to 24” In Mumbai High N&S & Neelam Fields, All risers will be installed by adopting the Stalk on Method. Pipeline end will be lifted above the surface by multiple Davit lift line, Riser will welded/Stalked on in sections & riser pipeline assembly will be lowered to sea bed.
Fabrication of Riser & Tie in joint, Platform initiation & laying operations of flexible Pipeline.
Inspection and Monitoring of the various activities in CTE Coating, Braslate Anode Installation, Concrete Weight Coating, Fabrication of I-Tube, Flush type Anode, Bell mouth, Flange, Thread- O- let Assembly. Monel Sheathing and ensure that the quality of the product is according to the given specification.
Project Management & Responsibility:
Coordinating with Third party agency, Preparation of Inspection reports, Verification of test reports and Completion of inspection booklets.
Review of material test certificates, as per Codes, Standards and Client specification.
Review of Welding Procedure specification and Welder Qualification records as per Codes, and Client Specifications.
Responsible for fabrication, welding inspection as per Codes, and Client Specifications.
Review of Procedure Qualification records and Welding Procedure specification of sub-contractors.( PQR, WPS )
Visually inspecting the weldments in structural and piping.
Co-ordination in radiographic interpretation with clients.
Responsible for Welding Processes Viz. SMAW, SAW, GTAW, GMAW & FCAW
Testing & witness of WPS, PQR & Welders qualification of piping. Receipt inspection inline with the Purchase Order requirements, test certificates review & tractability of same.
Final inspection (Cut back, Holiday inspection, Coating thickness, marking).
I/J-Tube Fabrication & Installation
Worked on 12'', 20”, 24’’ And 28” I/J-tube installation for Water Injection Line and Composite Cable for
ONGC-Heera and Bombay High Field.
Project Management & Responsibility:
Carrying out welding procedure qualification and Welder Qualification as per AWS D1.1 & Client Specification.
Monitoring the Pipe section and slot as per the drawing.
Carrying out Ultrasonic and MPT inspection.
Verifying Anode Installation as per drawing.

Project Overview: The BORL Pipeline and SPM project involves Installations, Single point Mooring (SPM) & 48’’pipeline including installation. 48” Diameter concrete weight coated crude oil pipeline from shore to an SPM located in around 32m water depth,14.870km Long Submarine pipeline, with concrete coating including Approx.2.6km Shore pull.48’’Dia. 3LPE pipeline approx. 2.0km long Onshore pipeline include terminal piping works at COT. Offshore & onshore Crude oil pipeline from SPM to COT, Crude oil is Received through Ocean tankers, as well as installation of the PLEM, SPM, hoses and tie in spool and pre-commissioning and testing of the system.
Project Management & Responsibility: Involved in different activities viz. PQT, WQT inspection, incoming inspection of SMAW pipe, and preparation and review of ITP, WPS, WMS & formats.
Monitoring & inspection of 3LPE coating, Concrete weight coating application, Anode fabrication inspection and thermal resistance welding Inspection & expediting the work at vendor’s premises and co-ordination with TPI for approval as per approved project specification & ITP requirements are strictly adhered during execution. Monitoring & physical verification of sub-contractor’s fabrication erection NDT activities. Review and approve vendor quality procedures.
