Selected by the Cornelius Public Library to drive the capital campaign for the new library at Cornelius Place, a mixed-use development in the city of Cornelius featuring a 14,000 square foot library and 45 units of affordable housing. Contribution includes fundraising with businesses, individuals and civic organizations, development of the case/positioning statement, the campaign messaging, press releases and backgrounders. Conducted workshops with the library advisory board and city officials. Liaison to the housing partners Bienestar and Bridge Housing on communications campaign. Drove the outreach and communications plan for the highly successful September, 2017 groundbreaking event.
