Expertise developing and implementing Behaviour Based health and safety programs with focus on fire protection, vehicle operation, trenching and excavation, confined space operations, electrical safety, fall protection, asbestos management, drug testing, industrial hygiene, and hazard communication.
Have inspected all manner of work sites, manufacturing facilities to hospitals to prisons, construction sites and mines from 300 feet above ground to 500 feet underground,
Have investigated countless incidents ranging from near-misses to multiple fatalities to determine the causes and develop corrective actions. Am accepted as an expert witness in court.
Created and maintained DOT programs, trained drivers for their CDL exams, maintained driver qualification files, managed and administered drug and alcohol programs.
Have managed numerous workers comp programs.
Authored safety manuals for highway workers belonging to the AFSCME union.
