Provided day-to-day Quality Assurance Engineering support to all areas of the company (Manufacturing, Engineering, Product Development, Purchasing and Product Assurance). This included the timely resolution of production issues and includes participation in cross-functional teams and communication with suppliers and customers.
Established and maintained quality procedures. Ensured that product performance and quality conformed to established company and regulatory standards, were properly documented to assure uniformity and communicated to appropriate parties.
Performed internal audits of department processes and procedures and Process audits at Suppliers’ sites in order to maintain compliance with MIL-PRF-38534 and AS9100D. Generated internal/external CARs and followed-up with appropriate teams until full closure.
Reviewed Customer specification control drawings and generated Qualification plans, planed, monitored and tracked product qualification testing per customer specifications, or DDC’s internal procedures and generated Qualification reports for more than 70 products (CCA products, PEMs and Hybrids).

Generated over 2900 formal Failure Analysis Reports (FAR) of non-conforming products received from the Customers by interacting with Engineering and Manufacturing. Used technical knowledge in evaluating the repair reports and identifying trends.

Supervised 4 QC Inspectors and resolved all quality issues/discrepancies pinpointed by them. Ensured proper documentation of issues.
Personally responsible for improving the Quality in the following areas: SL/Rack, Engineering, Oil/CT and Model Shop. In less than one year, the SL/Rack acceptance rate improved by 23% and the Oil/CT acceptance rate improved by 21%.
