Graphic Designer and Illustrator with (literally) decades of experience in print, web design, packaging design; basically any thing that involves pictures and words arranged in a pleasing or interesting manner, designed to guide the eye toward a call to action, or the subject of the design.

•Production Artist Late for the Sky Production Co., Inc. – (May 2018 – August 2018)
•Produced production ready art for customized Monopoly games (all elements reflecting a given location).
•Cut time spent on individual project(s) by improving ease of use/functionality for templates. Saved an average of 30-60 minutes per project.
•Production/Mechanical Artist L Brands. – (June 2018 – August 2018)
•Prepared extremely detailed and precise mechanical art from files furnished by Graphic Design team to be used for production of labels, bags, boxes, etc.
•Prevented costly reprint by catching layout/design/assembly inconsistencies on labels for seasonal program, allowing us to reconfigure labels to spec with only a small delay prior to press run.
PACKAGING DESIGN MANAGER
R.G. Barry Corp, Pickerington, Ohio 2013-2018
Managed the team responsible for design and production of all solid packaging and printed materials – boxes, tags, labels, hangers, signage, displays and assorted collateral – for all R.G. Barry brands and sub-brands, as well as licensed brands as needed. Brands included Dearfoams, Baggallini, Foot Petals and all sub-brands thereof (12+, 4+, and 3, respectively), along with licensed and private label contracts. Team was also responsible for all internal corporate marketing and display, including showroom presentation.
•Cut packaging and display costs for Dearfoams brand, by reducing and consolidating total number of structures by about 1/3, resulting in commensurate savings in production costs across the board.
•Created, updated, and maintained DF by Dearfoams branding for Walmart, resulting in a good ongoing relationship with Walmart buyers, while maintaining internal brand fidelity. ($25M Annually)
•Delivered on-target graphic presentations to showcase packaging and product, resulting in consistent buys from assorted accounts, including Costco Seasonal ($10M Annually).
•Won $2M (est) Costco Spring program by developing patent-pending box structure with TPH International to meet their specific display requests.
•Won $250K license program for NineWest by adapting NineWest branding, while maintaining fidelity to that branding, to cost effective structures, and providing convincing presentation of same to buyers at NineWst.
•Reduced friction and confusion among teams by providing a consistent, experienced focal point for all design and production questions for internal teams and external vendors
GRAPHIC DESIGNER / PACKAGING DESIGNER

Senior member of Visual Presentation Team. Worked on several award winning publications, packaging solutions and P.O.P. displays. Team was responsible for all marketing materials (publication, packaging, etc.) for multiple brands, sub-brands, corporate communications, and interior designs for office and showroom.
•Won contract for Target by creating Dluxe by Dearfoams branding and packaging solution, resulting in our first branded presence in Target.
•Primary designer for all Dearfoams/DF by Dearfoams printed brand materials (2007-2009).
•Saved $20M account (est) by developing DF by Dearfoams national brand for Walmart resulting in our keeping our contract for Walmart production.
•Won $50K Spring Seasonal program by creating DF Sport brand for Sam’s Club (under extreme time crunch). In addition to initial spring seasonal, this brand was a spring mainstay for several years,
•Initiated Dearfoams e-com program by designing the first Dearfoams Website Prototype, providing proof of concept, and leading to corporate buy-in.
