Title: Performance Analysis and Simulation of Solar PV – Wind Hybrid Energy System with SVC

Tools: MATLAB/Simulink

Description: In this project we use solar PV and wind both as combined in hybrid system for better efficiency and power output. We analyze the power outcome and regulate it with SVC (Static VAR Compensator), a FACTS devise. The SVC, a static voltage ampere reactive compensator is a set of power electronic devices for providing fast-acting reactive power on high-voltage electrical transmission networks. The SVC is an automated impedance matching device, designed to bring the system closer to unity power factor. Through this study and project implementation we can match the outputs of the hybrid sources to that of the grid and facilitates for the power injection to the grid.

Graduation:

Title: simulation of operational characteristics of single phase induction motor by using ZSI

Tools: MATLAB/Simulink

Description: This project deals with the single phase induction motor operated on Impedance Sourced Inverters (ZSI). Use of VSI and CSI in single phase induction motor is widely practiced in the present scenario. But at high voltage and current conditions, it may cause problems like open circuit or closed circuit faults in the field windings. In these cases excess currents and voltage damages the motor and leads to the faulty systems. To avoid such problems we use Impedance sourced Inverter, where impedance refers to Z=V/I. This means the impedance is regulated in the source through V and I, thus stabilizing the power. In this way ZSI protects the system and enhances the efficiency.

Mini project:

Title: FM RADIO JAMMER

Tools: Hardware components (resistance, capacitance, transforms and other electronic and electrical components etc.)

Description: FM RADIO JAMMER is used to avoid and block the unwanted frequency. In sensitive radio communications, the noise may cause huge damages. This noise may refers to other signals at some unwanted frequencies. Frequency modulated (FM) signals are one of them if they are unintended. This project is to avoid a radio frequency circuit, which detects the signals at particular frequency and jam them from entering the main signals. Various radio components are used with various specifications as per the frequency requirements.
