Estimating for the requirements given by clients with knowledge from IS 1200 (Part 1- 24), IS 2502-Code for bending and fixing of bars in RCC & SP34 for reinforcement.

Analyzing the rates for shuttering as per IS 10421 - 1983 (Plywood, Steel (Learning)), concretes of all grade with design mix as per IS 10262 -2005 from batching plant with basic rates and change in rates IS 10067- 1982 for material constants in building works and IS 7272 for labour co-efficiency.

Submitting the Bill of Quantities for client to get approvals and rate analysis for items for tasks required. RESPONSIBILITIES AS A SITE ENGINEER:

Setting out, levelling and surveying the site.

Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.

Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.

Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect;

Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.

Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
