I also assisted with rosters for nursing staff and their payroll and drafting client/patient contracts and record sheets for use in our old age home. I managed stock control and was able to efficiently conduct stock take and orders. I did patient invoicing and collections from Medical Aid and cash payments. VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE OR LEADERSHIP
I have been in many leadership roles throughout High School and afterwards. This includes volunteering at Durban Christian Center (DCC) for more than 2 years. My key involvement areas are office work (secretarial and administration), community outreaches and leadership in Choir and Youth departments. I am actively involved in planning and facilitating team building events in said departments and mentoring and growing others by imparting my knowledge as a singer to newcomers and young people. I have also recently been afforded the opportunity to be involved in the youth research and development team where I was responsible for planning our first youth camp in 3 years (where my responsibilities were organizing travel, accommodation and the daily activity program schedules), and our first youth conference in 2 years. My volunteer experiences have grown me personally in my people skills, has taught me to work well under pressure, meet deadlines efficiently and communicate effectively.
