June 28, 2008 to August 29, 2008 Tool & Die Coordinator

Worked with the Stamping Department Team to increase the OEE of the presses by increasing SPM, eliminate scrap flow issues, re engineer the finger system for the transfer presses: decrease the down time, decrease the setup time, investigate and implement material reduction where appropriate.

Approve die designs, tool makers, tooling cost for new dies and current tools for stamping, as well as oversee the daily operation of the department.

Approve die builds and tryouts at the toolmakers so the tools will make a quality part at the SPM the tool was quoted at.

Went to Japan, S. Korea and Mexico for international tryouts and die buyoff.
