JLR Design Digital Tools and Visualisation Project Engineer - Jaguar Landrover

Responsibility for Design IT Team supporting multiple disciplines within a design studio environment including satellite sites.

Design IT and Application portfolio support for JLR Design Studios across all Jaguar and Landrover sites.

Lead Design projects regarding the implementation, enhancement of IT related activities linked to the digital design process.

Facilitate the roadmap of all upgrades and new additional software to the Design application portfolio, working with software vendors and internal stakeholders.

Key stakeholder within the Design IT operational and strategic working group reviewing the status of projects and escalating to the relevant senior stakeholders.

Develop close business relationships with 3rd party vendors, for implementation, support and enhancement of JLR Design application portfolio.

Manage support and maintenance for Powerwall visualisation suite.

Work with Board members and VIP visitors to the design studios.

Ongoing research of emerging disruptive technologies within AV and application visualization.

Systems Project Engineer Supervisor – Jaguar Landrover

Supervision of IMAC Team.

Involvement of technical logistics and projects across Jaguar and Land Rover sites in the capacity of the MAC team (Moves, Adds, Changes). Projects to include the relocation of 3500 personnel with in Jaguar and Landrover; ‘Project Spectrum’.

Provide expertise to implement desktops and laptops through a redeployment process, providing a cost saving for Jaguar and Landrover.

Ensure the integrity of desktop/laptop build with various versions of the Ford Global Client, correspond with logistics of the customer base, co-ordinate with local infrastructure support, on-site hardware engineers and 3rd party vendors.

Resolve problems with desktops/laptops and software issues to include OS platforms Windows 98, 2000, XP and Office automation software, Office 2000, and Office XP.

Remotely deploying software packages to workstations using SDS – Software delivery system
