WORK EXPERIENCE
January 2018- Present Pipeline Technician III/Maintenance Coordinator – American Midstream (Formally Panther Operating Company)
Continued with my current work responsibilities with Panther Operating Company, with increasing my knowledge in the following areas: Pipeline decommissioning/pipeline flushing projects, offshore maintenance recordings and scheduling, assisting in SMART tool projects, attending public awareness events.
August 2014- December 2017 Pipeline Operator- Panther Operating Company
Overseeing and conducting routine DOT and Non-DOT inspections on pipelines from topside surfaces. Maintaining working operations for customer platforms and the production that is being supported. Creating flight manifests/Hazmat for all airborne travel and schedule for work sites, inspecting tools and equipment for safety procedures. Responsible for the end of month closing documents for all customers and their reporting’s.
Overseeing company construction projects; such as site safety, site management, and correct site procedures. Producing proper documentation; such as job site JSA’s, work permits, and pre-job safety meetings.
January 2004- August 2014 Lead Measurement Specialist- Gulf Coast Measurement
Lead technician with ten years extensive installation and repair background. Conducted routine calibrations and inspections of various electronic and mechanical flow computers and made repairs as needed. Installation and calibration of various types of meters. Maintained complete logs of all inspections and test performed on equipment. On site problem solving, engineering quick solutions while still maintaining a safe work environment.
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
Electronic and Mechanical Meters
Use of a crystal monometer for pressure and differential calibration, and entry of gas analysis into various flow computers.
Knowledge of RTD calibration for various flow meters.
Knowledge of Rosemount SMART transmitter calibration using HART Protocol; Rosemount transmitter installation.
Proper linkage assembly measurements for Barton gas orifice meter calibration using high, mid and low points for calibration
Installing EFMs to orifice fittings
Installation of satellite communications, and solar panels
Tear down Barton meters, sand blasted and repainted. Reassembled and calibrated to proper working condition
Daniels Sr. Fittings
Knowledge of Daniels Sr. Fittings, operational and repairs
Conducted plate inspections- checking plate for nicks, cuts and plate dishing
Inspection of all stationary and moving parts for replacement; rebuilding Sr. fittings for optimal measurement accuracy.
Prover Loop/Turbine Meter Calibration and Setup
Knowledge of turbine meter calibrations, setup and repairs
Knowledge of the Prover Loop functions, direction of flow, actuation of valve for Prover ball movement and Cii counter setup.
Calibration for turbine meters, ball prover paperwork and replacing broken rotors and vein kits in various meter sizes
L.A.C.T. Units
Knowledge of L.A.C.T Unit operations and repairs
Setting BS&W monitors to correct API standards, running line shake outs for proper sample probe calibration.
Repair and replacement of broken parts in/on PD meter including counter head, right angle drive and internal assemblies
Pulling samples from sample pot and running shake outs to correct API standards.
Proper verification of temperature differences between meter and prover loop.
Mechanical Maintenance
Knowledge of proper valve maintenance.
Perform PSV calibration, repair, and replacement.
Perform calibration of pressure control valves.
Gauge breakout tanks for proper tank levels.
Cathodic Protection
Perform monthly rectifier maintenance and document readings.
