Coastal Carolina Wood Products- Sales Manager December 2014- Current I coordinate all Internet sales activities to include taking incoming sales calls from potential customers, builders and contractors. I transfer new sales orders from our website to QuickBooks, updating all pending orders, filing all claims associated with shipping damage, answering help desk questions pertaining to our products, providing estimates to all customers and also ensuring that all calls are made on potential customers, Other responsibilities include managing the company’s website to ensure that customer and sales efficiency is improved online, providing updated information and sales specials weekly and promoting office moral. Sourcing materials and bidding out custom made jobs. Assist customers on the design and layout of their staircase. Other duties include assisting other departments including shipping, receiving and pulling materials from the warehouse. Northwoods Automotive - Account Manager February 2012- August 2013 My key duty was to handle all customer accounts for Northwoods Automotive. This position entailed managing all delinquent accounts, sending out all state required notifications, assigning of collateral to recovery agents if deemed necessary, overseeing the liquidation process of repossessed collateral, establishing repayment arrangements, notifying customers of any deficiency that is owed and determining course of action on unpaid accounts. Other responsibilities include taking payments, preparing and signing deals, validating insurance information and most recently heading up the partnership between Credit Acceptance Corporation as our new outside lending company. American Federal Auto LLC – Operations Manager February 2011- February 2012 As operations/general manager it was my responsibility to ensure that the business operated effectively on a daily basis. Some of the key duties included taking payments, selling collateral, marketing, title work, collections, scheduling service work, coordinating detail work, tagging collateral, booking out trades, inspecting all collateral that arrives on the lot, determining sales floor pricing and following up on customer satisfaction. I was also responsible for the backup of customer data thru Wayne Reeves, Credit Acceptance Corporation and other finance companies. South Carolina Federal Credit Union - Recovery Specialist June 05 - August 09 The work involved was to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding proper collateral documentation, default notices, redemption period, sale and deficiency. As appropriate, pursues collection efforts on deficiency balances. Recommended appropriate accounts for charge-off and account closure on a monthly basis. Negotiated with member's if possible a voluntary surrender of collateral and evaluated repossession alternative to ensure appropriate action to minimize losses. This included maintaining a listing of repossession agents and auction houses. Other duties required coordinating collateral sale, disposition activity and periodically attending local auctions to ensure service levels are met. To compile and maintained monthly report (log book) on inventory, sales, redemptions and charge- offs. Also responsible to process invoices for repossession fees, repairs and other miscellaneous expenses pertaining to the liquidation process. If the collateral were damaged, I would communicate with insurance agents in reference to filing, processing and follow-up of insurance claims. Makes policy and procedural recommendations based on observations. I assisted the credit union attorney with lawsuits (going to court for litigation). In addition I started a repossession lot at the credit union allowing the sale of repossessed vehicles to minimize our loss. The repossession lot included cars, trucks and sport utility vehicles that I handpicked to sell. During this process I would floor the collateral, schedule mechanical inspections, coordinate cleaning of the collateral, place advertisement information on line and then determine what location to transport the collateral to in order for a quick sale. Other duties include refinancing loans depending on loan to value vs. debt to ratio and investigating the location on members that my credit counselors were unable to locate. During month end I prepared charge off. My main goal was to minimize losses to the credit union and maintain our membership as well as our client relations. Alaska USA Federal Credit Union - Loan Control Officer II August 03 - March 05 To contact members regarding financial obligations owed to the credit union and to establish repayment arrangements to avoid a potential loss for the credit union. Respond to member inquiries regarding tools to assist them in their time of need. Perform "skip traces" as required. Arrange and approve settlements and payment agreements as necessary on charged-off accounts within credit union guidelines. Analyze and recommend to the Senior Special Credits Recovery Officer, when appropriate, adverse actions on accounts to include, but not limited to, repossession of collateral, closure of credit limits, blocks on credit cards, legal actions and account codes to alert other credit union departments of losses and fraud accounts. Cornerstone Credit Services - Collection Supervisor January 01 - May 03 Responsibilities included contacting holders of delinquent accounts and establishing repayment arrangements. This included several different accounts such as medical, utility, deficiency balances from sales of collateral and returned checks. I promoted office moral and taught the collectors under me tips and tactics on how to collect on accounts. This included several tools available to us on how to "skip" for debtors when the information we had on them was incorrect. I was also responsible to make sure that the collectors were following the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act when collecting on accounts. EDUCATION:
