In-depth Knowledge of VFDs, Servo drives and motors (AB, Vickers, etc.).

Understanding of P&ID’s and instrument hook up drawings. Hands-on experience and good understanding of control loops & logic diagrams.

ORGANISATIONAL DETAILS

1. Since February ’09 working with Arc International Middle East LLC.UAE as Electrical And Instrumentation Foreman in the Department of Maintenance

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Co-ordinates planning and work preparation activities with my team members.

Responsible for Electrical and Instrumentation operation and maintenance for all manufacturing units & fully automated furnace with Siemens S7 PLC.

Implementation of calibration and PMI of Instruments as per schedule, breakdown analysis and root cause analysis.

Managing Preventive, Corrective and Shutdown maintenance to increase availability of field instruments including shutdown planning.

Maintenance, Commissioning and Troubleshooting of Motion control systems (Servo Drives & Variable Frequency Drives of Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.).

Maintenance, Troubleshooting and configuration of PLC, Communication module, I/O modules. I/O devices, SCADA Systems [Allen Bradley(ControlLogix, CompactLogix),Siemens,etc]

Maintenance and troubleshooting of all furnace control equipments like glass level controller, furnace pressure, reversal system, boosting system & bubbler systems.

Troubleshooting of Decoration Machines with VME and PLC controls.

Calibration of field Instruments like Pressure, Temperature, flow, Level Transmitters, I/P Converters, Pressure & Temperature Switches.

Preparation of documents and checklists of sectional activities for ISO and Quality audit.

Identification of critical spares, spares for day-to-day maintenance, inventory management

Undertaking upgradation, renovation & modification job of the existing machinery, equipment and manufacturing facilities of the plant.

Establishing quality standards ISO 9001 and autonomous maintenance and implementing the same on shop floor to enhance quality and reduce rejection level and rework.

2. February’08 - January’09 worked as an Executive (Instrumentation Engineer) in Maintenance Department in Hindustan National Glass & Industries Ltd. Pondicherry

Academic Project

A miniature of HVAC system has been designed and implemented with AB PLC and Wonderware SCADA.

In ARC, I have done Erection & commissioning in Instrumentation and electrical for new machineries and relocation of existing machines. Here all documentation, calibration work, reviving of projects & technical views of projects all done.
