August 5, 1985 to May 31, 2001 – I started out in the Traffic Department entering tickets into the computer system. I then was moved up to Court Clerk I and then Court Clerk II within the Traffic and Small Claims Department. I also worked in the Criminal Division processing incoming Complaints from the District Attorney’s Office. I worked closely with various agencies like the District Attorney’s Office, Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, Visalia Police Department, California Highway Patrol and other Police Departments within Tulare County. Eventually, I was promoted to Courtroom Clerk and began working within the Criminal Courtroom setting.

Unfortunately, I had to leave the job I loved in May of 2001 due to the necessity of becoming a caregiver to my terminally ill father. I have had several great jobs since leaving the Courts, but my heart will forever be within the legal field.
