• Modelling of Stirling Engine components and subsequent assembly model with proper mates and relations, using SolidWorks. Improvements or changes to necessitate function and eliminate interference were documented and completed using the Interference Analysis tool in SolidWorks. Following the design and assembly, technical drawings, exploded views and BOM's of major components were generated. The second part of the project involved using MasterCAM to generate tool paths for machining the flywheel from a block of aluminum on a Prototrak Mill.

• Redesign of an existing consumer device. The goal of the project was to use the tools and methods presented in class, such as customer value chain analysis(CVCA), affinity diagraming, A3 process, QFD to enhance the value of this consumer device.

Shaft Analysis with FEA Aug 2016-Dec 2016

• Consider a shaft in torsion with some parameters such as dimensions, Young’s modulus and Poisson ratio so on. Using ANSYS, plotted three different meshes with different mesh density, applied their input files in Matlab code, solved for maximum shear stress, location of the max value, and torque for each mesh and compared torque and maximum shear stress to some public value. Design of Suspension Model for Four-wheel Vehicle Jan 2017-May 2017

• Developed a four-wheel vehicle suspension model which accounted for realistic suspension geometry, spring and damper coefficients and presented results from simulation for a step impulse using Matlab/SIMULINK.

• Shock absorber with different damping coefficient was also considered to simulate as it was a non-linear parameter.
