CAREER SUMMARY:

A Proven leader with over 14 years of supervision and management experience in the manufacturing and information technology fields, of the circuit board fabrication, LCD manufacturing/ repair and semiconductor industries. I have a decorated history of strong leadership and successful team building capabilities combined with excellent technical, communication, presentation, and customer service skills. I am a resourceful problem solver with a proven track record bringing effective, efficient resolutions to complex situations, as well as building lasting relationships with vendors and customers.

I possess extensive knowledge in data analysis, new process implementation, new product introduction control, auditing, and continuous improvement disciplines. I am well versed in several methodologies of training/ cross functional training, team development, supervising personnel and leadership principles. I have several years of experience producing high quality yields; that are timely, on budget, within scope and that meet and often exceed customer expectations.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Continuous Process Improvement

• Material Requirements Planning

• Vendor Sourcing & Procurement

• Integrated Logistics Management

• Customer Relations Management

• Manufacturing Operations

• Budget & Financial Analysis

• Quality Control, ISO & Program Management

• Business Developement & Strategic Planning

• Inventory & Process Management

• Process & Performance Optimization

• Profit & Loss Management

SELECTED ACHEIVEMENTS:

●Championed the increase in overall process yield by 15% through targeted training, active communication and applying DMAIC principles to top 3 process detractors.

●Identified inherent design flaws of models with top failure rates. This helped to cut production costs and revealed critical information to our customers.

●Reduced the production line scrap rate 50% by systematically identifying and analyzing the top defects and leading root cause of failures. I discovered that subjective diagnosis’ made at initial screening was the primary issue. I revamped the training process and identified/ provided the necessary tools, including visual aids and measuring templates. The screening process was subsequently stabilized; which saved 80K in the first quarter following the new process implementation.

●Designed and championed a parts harvest program, which cut materials cost by 40% percent per quarter for approved out of warranty repairs. The ROI was an estimated savings of more than 50K per quarter.

●Led reducing return rate by 60% over 4 quarters by streamlining capture process to target “actionable” returns then applying DMAIC methodologies to top hitters. The efforts established the site as best in class among suppliers.

●Assisted in 6 Sigma and Lean Improvement projects valuing $60k in cost savings annual (Polar Improvement, Environmental Test Reduction, and NASA Imaging Implementation). The NASA Imaging apparatus allowed one certified operator the ability to accurately screen 12 units at once. The previously used UTS 1000 allowed for only one unit to be tested per operator.

●Expedited purchasing and contracting actions with increased operations economy by establishing comprehensive purchasing controls.
