Project Overview

GBPSM is Green Bay Production System Maintenance. This is basically a maintenance project and I worked in GBPSM team which involves the teams like Solar, Ehub and Provider.

The Solar application involves generating Payer sales (agents and agency) commissions and

respective reporting.

Ehub is the link for all external EDI transactions that come to Humana from external sources for eligibility (270), Authorization (278), Claims (837) and Claims status (276), etc.

Provider involves maintaining the latest provider network data for the company. This involves

enrolling a new provider to network, changing provider address, etc.

My Role:

My routine work includes technical tasks and business analysis like:

oBusiness analysis for healthcare systems and creating requirements specs.

oUnderstands cross functional business processes and current systems and integrations.

oFacilitate JAD sessions and perform and document gap analysis and impact analysis.

oResponsible for writing functional requirement specifications, user requirement specifications,

and business process models. Create process flow documents and diagrams.

Worked on projects like Medicare supplement products, Medicare products- plans and enrollments. Also worked on various developments for newly acquired BCBS systems (Blue Cross Blue Shield) by Anthem.
