UNDERGRADUATE PROJECT
TITLE : Modification of Industrial Crane using Lifting Mechanism of Robotics. DESCRIPTION : Aim of the project is to design and modify industrial crane by replacing hydraulic control with electronic control using robotic technology. A prototype model has been created in small scale to analyze its working performance.
POSTGRADUATE PROJECTS
TITLE : Design and analysis of automobile leaf spring by changing its cross-section and using composite material.
DESCRIPTION : Aim of the project is to design and analyze leaf spring of a light commercial vehicle by replacing its rectangular cross-section with trapezoidal cross-section for two different materials i.e. 65Si7 and Epoxy composite material. It was optimized for high strength with reduced weight. For solid modeling, Creo Parameteric has been used and for simulation, Ansys 14.0 has been used.
TITLE : Modification of two wheeler carburetor by enabling independent control on mass flow rate of air and fuel and its CFD analysis.
DESCRIPTION : Aim of the project is to modify Honda Activa Carburetor (Modern needle type) to get independent control on air and fuel mass flow rate to achieve a required range of Air-fuel ratio proportion. Flow of air and fuel has been analyzed in both existing and modified carburetor and their mixture proportion at outlet section of carburetor has been compared. Creo Parameteric has been used for flow channel modeling and Ansys Fluent 16.0 has been used for flow simulation. ACHIEVEMENTS AND EXTRACURRICULAR
