4000 MT Structural fabrication and erection(20 nos 60 MT Hopper,19 nos 9 MT Girder,etc)

2.5 km conveyors erection and commissioning., Equipments – 4000MT capacity 2nos silo, 15000 MT storage over head bunker,vibro- feeder, plough feeder bucket elevator flap gates, Rapid loading system sampling system ventilation system utility for plant,traveling Tripper car conveyors, Magnetic separators, belt scale, metal detector, pump house etc.

Monitoring of contractor activities in terms of safety, quality and timely completion of works.

Forecasting the future problems in construction, identifying the problems while construction is going on & accordingly problems will be solved through proper channel.

Technical guidance in interpretation of specifications, reviews of job plans, equipment, and productivity and detect potential problems in confirming to established schedule or specifications & advising subcontractor when not acceptable or if necessary corrective action or additional document required.

Reviewing shop and as built drawings submitted by subcontractor.

Preparation of Erection plans & section details

Assessing and checking the Subcontractor Prepared Billings as per the actual quantity.

• Key Deliverables

* Review the subcontractor quotations, prepare & issue the work orders for the fabrication & Erection Activities.

* Planning the facilities that are to be provided for smooth execution i.e. plan the area required for fabrication for a certain quantity,layout the area,Power requirement, Welding and other consumables requirement & other tools& tackles requirement.

* Plan, Monitor& controlling all fabrication & erection activities in the aspect of material, quality, Drawings, Priority, economy, safety, technical etc.

* All activities related to Quantity surveying & Quality Control 4 P a g e

* Controlling & Monitoring of Fabrication and Erection activities for Structural and Mechanical Works.

* Assembly and installation of mechanical equipment with alignment, commissioning and initial maintenance.

* Performing as Site in charge in the aspects of Drawings, RA billings, materials, tools, consumables, quality, safety, Technical issues etc. Fabrication Activities

* Formulating plans for Area wise, drawing wise, section wise requirement of RAW steel and preparing cutting plans prior to fabrication.

* Planning the tools, consumables & facilities for the smooth execution of Fabrication like welding machines, hydras, welding electrodes, cutting sets, etc.

* Creating inspection reports and conducting stage wise inspection in fabrication, blasting, painting as per the client established field quality plans.

* Organizing welder's Qualification tests for different type of jobs as per the client standards & conducting NDT for the welded joints.

* Assessing and checking the Subcontractor Prepared Billings as per the actual quantity.

* Attending for the Client meetings to discuss and sort out problems regarding the fabrication progress.

* Coordinating with Erection team and plan the items to be fabricate according to the erection priority.

• Erection Activities

* Preparation of Erection programs priority wise, date wise,mark wise &area wise

* Preparation of rigging plans i.e. positioning of crane, marching of crane and material movement to the required location.

* Organize the material, men, tools, vehicles movement in the erection site.

* Monitor the all facilities required at erection for smooth and safe execution and minimize the possible delays to meet the targets (power supply, working platforms etc.)

* Prepare Erection Protocols and getting approvals from the clients.

* Co-ordination with fabrication team to get the items to be erect without any delay.

• Equipment Activities

*Good knowledge about the material handling plant and first star-up of a new plant.

*Installation and alignment of Vibro-Feeder.

*Installation and alignment of IN-LINE MAGNETIC SEPARATOR.

*Installation and alignment of Travelling Tripper.

*Installation and alignment of Paddle Feeder.

*Installation and alignment of HGTU and VGTU.
