Design an automated, conveyor driven, transportation system using PLC in Industrial Motor Control
We were tasked with designing the electrical/control system for an automated, conveyor-driven, transportation system that will be used to transport the raw materials used in a steel recycling plant from the loading area to the arc furnace and then to the final casting location. Both the primary components
(conveyors/motors, sensors types/locations, etc and the basic operational characteristics of the system were already specified and we had to integrate the specified components into a working system, such that we provided (by design) all of the other components (Transformers, Contacts, VFDs, etc needed to make the system functional along with designing/programming the control system required for complete system operation.
Multi Purpose Inventory Counter with raspberry Pi 3 Through personal experiences at work, keeping constant and accurate track of goods can be tedious, and mistakes are bound to happen over time due to a variety of factors such as being fatigue or carelessness. Such mistakes are a result of humans naturally not being perfect and being susceptible to inevitable errors. The objective of this project is to design and build an inventory counting tool prototype which will allow the user to efficiently take inventory of goods with consistency and minimal errors. While the system measures the weight of a given item, the weight is stored and displayed to keep the user updated with the items being measured.
Automatic Room light Controller designed with pic 16F84 We were asked to build an electronic device that will automatically turn the light on or off in a room depending on whether there are people inside or not. We used infrared lights that we placed at the entry of the door. When they were cut in a forward order (1 then 2) we knew someone entered the room and when it was in reverse order, we knew someone left the room.
