Objective: I Desire a position with career growth potential. I am interested in a Sales Associate position for a venue. I am experienced in all aspects of tours of the commercial property, venues, property amenities and all other accommodations that are associated to the property. I also would consider a sales & Marketing position that will effectively utilize my acquired expertise, creative talents and commitment to excellence. I have always been in charge for the contract details which usually included layout and décor. Event Coordination and Event Planning is second nature.

Summary of qualifications-

As Sales Associate/Sales /Director I was responsible for showing a 1,040 Acre Resort, Property Venues, Ceremony sites and other amenities that were available for rental for private events. I enjoyed painting the picture about what the prospective clients would experience if they bought, booked or rented. I also walked each client through the process of planning their private event, wedding, corporate event or other special banquet etc. Planning from room layout- Décor to for the entire event from centerpieces to banquet display, and Food & Beverage to entertainment options.

As Event coordinator I produced hundreds of weddings, receptions, holiday parties and corporate events. Management skills which required planning, budgeting and cost control; and data computation. I toured all clients, presented pricing and closed all contracts. I personally oversaw every event to make sure all details were to the client’s contract and expectations. Identifying opportunities to upsell.

Created marketing and promotional ideas for upcoming events and activities with flyers, newsletters & print advertising when appropriate. Stimulated interests on social media which helped promote the event or activity.

Activities Director for private resort and a health club which included weekly planned activities, monthly, yearly calendar of scheduled activities and holiday themed events. Themed events included all props and décor to make the special event exceptional. Arranged trips for owners, teens and children along with other type of outdoor adventures trips.

Professional Experience/ Work History –

Woodmont Country Club. I was Director of membership sales which I toured the course, showed all the amenities, club house, ball rooms, office space for meetings and corporate events, pool, tennis courts, exercise room and gym. I also created the monthly members events and implemented each activity and deigned the calendar and monthly newsletter. 2016-2017.

I was responsible for all club, private events, weddings, banquets, fundraisers and all other special events. Handling tours of the facility, showing all the amenities, discussing menu options, room lay-out, event décor, centerpieces & entertainment suggestions. I established venue pricing, drafted quotes for clients, booked event and handled all other details when needed

R-Ranch in the Mountains- August 2015- August 2016- Sales & Marketing. I was Director of sales and sold an average of 6 Deeded Ownerships per month the first 6 months I returned. Designed all advertising, brochures, newsletters & activities calendar of events all in accordance to the R-Ranch brand. I developed a branding guide to set a precedence for all advertising that was used in anything that went out to the public.

I exceed private event sales for Woodmont Country Club by 2 times the goal that the management set out for me when hired. Woodmont did not have an established reputation as a wedding venue before was hired. Management set my goal to book 10 weddings, but I sold 22 in the first 8 months not including private events.

I have been blessed with three wonderful children that I raised as a single parents and worked hard supporting my kids and was able to be successful in my careers.
