HR Connect LLC is an HR consulting/talent management solutions consulting firm that helps companies improve their competitive advantage by enabling them to audit their existing HR operations, provide interim leadership staff and department management of all HR systems with minimal disruption to daily operations. I have been engaged to assist Executive Leadership Teams (ELT) in times of legal crisis and audits, high turnover and provide interim leadership to companies with departments in transition or to startups with no HR departments. • Current Interim Vice President of HR, Service by Medallion May 2017 to Present Medallion is a Janitorial Services & Building Construction Company servicing Corporate Campuses throughout the Greater Bay Area. Department has been through 8 previous Directors and I am rebuilding the team, providing leadership to a twelve person HR team supporting 700 FTE’s in NorCal. Conducting a full-scale OD/OE organizational audit aimed at identifying operational inefficiencies & migrating all HR business operations to a compliant cloud base environment. Partnering with the ELT to strengthen Union Relations with 3 SEIU offices and help automate HR internal controls those align with the CBA’s and assisting 3rd party counsel to resolve a class action DLSE/FLSA suit and managing a heavy flow of union grievance activity and CBA adherence cases. Projects include selecting and implementing a new HRIS, ATS re-design w/ automated On-Boarding that includes Benefits enrollment, e-verify, background check, i-9 automation, performance management & fully scaled Employee Self-Service portal and the launch of a new careers site.

• Talent Acquisition & Search Consultant, Aparavi Software Mar 2017 to Mar 2018 Aparavi is a Neutral Data Retention Startup in Santa Monica, CA. Contracted to select and lead a full-lifecycle ATS system implementation. Project involved development of job descriptions, recruiting workflows, field mapping, careers site/integration and system training of all stakeholders in on automated compliant talent selection. In parallel, conducted three executive searches for the VP of Product Management, Director of Marketing and two lead SW engineering roles.

• Interim Head of People Operations, Think Tank Learning Jun 2016 to May 2017 Contractor partnering with the global executive team (US-China) to audit, design, implement and manage global HR strategies, programs, and processes that support global MBO’s. Co-partnered with external counsel on resolving 3 class action DLSE/FLSA disputes saving the

money over $20 Mil. Built and trained a nine-person HR department team to support 3,500 US 1,500 Chinese FTE’s and improved organizational collaboration. Department oversight & large scale organizational effectiveness audits in areas of corporate governance, talent acquisition, benefits and compensation, employee relations, performance management, leadership coaching. In parallel, implemented a large scale ATS/HRIS system, created a new careers website and migrated all HR operations to a 100% compliant cloud-based environment.

• Interim Director of Talent Acquisition Operations, 24 Hour Fitness Mar 2016 to May 2016 Contractor leading the HR operations strategy for an eight person Talent Acquisition Ops team. Project included leading an RFP for new HR systems, vendor management, and compliance audits that would support 25,000 employees nationwide. Implemented a large scale enterprise ATS & HRIS systems migrating from Kenexa to ADP Workforce Now. Other deliverables included being the functional lead for an onboarding program automation revamp which included; i9 records management, benefits & 401k enrollment, LMS integration and full backup and data migration from Peoplesoft to ADP. Developed and implemented a full scale recruiting programs for diversity, college, and military talent selection and launched dashboards for ELT providing on demand metrics/analytics reporting for all TA functions including EEO/OFCCP.

• Interim Director of Human Resources, Excel Building Services Nov 2015 to Feb 2016 Contractor partnering with the ELT on a major PWC i9 audit resulting in a large data warehouse recovery project that consolidated data from three disparate systems into a new HRIS.Data was succesfully mapped and supported 3rd party counsel discovery requests for two class action lawsuits (FLSA/PAGA) saving the company over 4 Mil in fines and penalties. Conducted an HR audit which led to the development of a comprehensive OE plan that moved HR manual ops to an integrated HR cloud services model that supported a decentralized business. In parallel, hired,trained and transitioned a new HR Team before rolling off of the project.

• Interim Sr. Manager of Global Talent Acquisition, GAP, Inc. Aug 2014 to July 2015 Contractor responsible for supporting all global corporate functions recruiting and partnered with Unit/Division executives, brand HRBP’s and generalists to build scalable talent selection pipeline strategies. Managed a team of four (TABP’s & Talent Scouts) that supported recruiting for Global Legal Services, Social & Environmental Responsibilities/CSR, GAP Foundation, Global Real Estate, Creative Services, Store Operations, Corporate Communications and all Human Resources (OD OE CM, Employee Relations, Global Mobility, Compensation, Generalist & HRBP) business units. I contracted as both a W2 and 1099 and as I relocated to the Bay Area, this firm became an RPO Alliance Partner and was the reason I was able to launch my own LLC . My services included current state recruitment optimization diagnostics (people, process, technology, and strategy), HR interim leadership consulting, OD/OE, contract recruiting and leadership staffing, on-demand pipeline recruiting solutions and/or RPO vendor selection/implementation and performance management solutions. From July 2010 till Sept 2011, I acted as a Project Manager for TalentRISE clients/contractors and was the Avature System Administrator and provided resource management for bench recruiters, kicked off and set up new projects and built databases with customized workflows for new TR clients. This turned into a remote role that was able to do from my new home in California. Here is a macro level highlight of my contract engagement history: CONTRACT ENGAGEMENTS WITH TALENTRISE INCLUDE:

• Senior Director. Human Capitol Services, Orion's Mind Mar 2009 – July 2010 Started as a Contractor and converted to Full-time after two months. Managed six direct reports for a $17 million start-up educational services company. Responsible for all corporate Human Resources functions. Reported to the COO and was responsible for North American expansion campaign and managed a department of 10 (Payroll, Generalists, Recruiters, Benefits Manager and Office Admin staff. Supported over 2200 U.S. employees in all areas of human resources. Kicked off a strategic operations review that restructured and re-engineered company operations to maximize workflow efficiencies; initiative saved over $1.5 Million in operating expenses and controlled turn-over and increased retention. Set expectations and defined and tracked against key strategic HR metrics. Key Accomplishments Included:

• Led CBA union negotiations with Illinois Federation of Teachers Union and copartnered with the Chicago School District on a supplimental jobs program that supported our summer totoring programs and launched a college recruiting program that provided education majors with an opportunity to intern under a certified teacher and gain college coarse credit through our program.

• Designed, led and conducted field training programs for PM’s, AD’s and Directors in the areas NCLB regulatory compliance, employment law (Title VII harassment and discrimination, FMLA and ADA rights, ADEA, PDA, wage and hour compliance), change management, compensation management, workplace violence prevention, coaching and counseling, absence management, discipline and grievances, performance management, corrective action, organizational planning, recruitment and termination.

• Reviewed and aligned employment policies and procedures of acquisition companies to best match corporate expectations and ensure legal compliance. Included developing a new corporate handbook and rewriting NHO programs to reflect new policies and practices. Supported business initiatives by developing a workforce plan that measured bench strengths and provided insight into future succession planning options for our leadership team. This included developing a talent branding campaign to bring to light a value proposition for recruitment and retention goals.

• Assess benefits, compensation, and total rewards. Implemented alternate cost-cutting benefits plans and marketed competitive compensation bands and bonus incentive plans to deliver competitive total rewards packages.

• Director. Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Operations, Olenick & Associates Mar 2007 to Mar 2009 Started as a Contractor for privately held $9.8 million North American software testing consulting company with 200 employees. I was converted to Full-time as a result of the termination of their HR Director and assumed responsibility for the department. Played a key role with leadership team during reorganization which included examining business processes, assessing organization’s talent and implementing steps to meet organization and operational goals for all Talent Acquisition Operations and HR department oversight. Key Accomplishments included:

• Implemented exit interview process which provided leadership with feedback through the Company’s first formal career development program; organization initiative created an increase in 9.8 to 16.8 in utilization significantly improving bench metrics contributing to company revenue, 57% decrease in turnover and showed significant savings in annual hiring costs.

• Managed all aspects of business readiness for project implementation of applied appropriate methodologies to strengthen the shared services project success and mitigate risks on talent mapping, resource planning and talent attraction resulting in an corporate-wide organizational realignment and the creation of the V25 initiative which set a strategic path for the company to triple in size in 3 years time.

• Trained and supported Marketing and Communications team nationally assisting in the implementation of a new online customer relationship management tool, MaxHire.com and led in the implementation of the system. Conducted workforce analysis, streamlined and automated hiring process and integrated applicant assessment tools that increased the quality of hire results increasing long-term retention and overall operations.

• Developed a leadership development program (Early Career Development Program) and partnered with Big 10 universities to develop an internship program that provided the company with a proactive approach to pipeline management and talent acquisition.
