PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Paychex handles payroll and human resources services for their clients. A major part of their business is dependent on internal and client facing reports. Reports like Earning and Deduction at a Glance, State/Local Allocation Percent, rate of Pay Authorization reports provide Paychex’s clients information about their employee’s wages, deductions and tax information. The project was an expansion of their previous Time and Attendance product with the addition of Time and Labor Online, an Internet-based time and labor management system that gives businesses an easy and cost-effective way to automate time and attendance processes. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Gathered, analyzed, reviewed and documented design documents & business requirements, functional specifications/requirements and Use case Document relating to business requirements to learn the scope and purpose of the application.

• Worked on Use cases to capture functional specifications.

• Understand the requirements from use cases and derive functional test cases.

• Implemented the Agile SDLC for the developing life cycle and followed the Standards process in the application.

Comcast’s Spotlight Division is the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. It offers on-air, online and on-demand advertising on local, regional and national levels as an alternative to local network affiliates. Comcast Spotlight tries to make cable advertising easy to buy, and to enhance the value of spot cable advertising via new technologies products and service. Worked on multiple projects as a Quality Assurance Analyst for the Spotlight Division of Comcast which included testing different applications as well as Data validations to validate the different databases these applications use.
