Report Writer / SQL DBA level 1 (SSRS)

Description: TransCard provides prepaid debit cards through banks, variety of prepaid card products can be made available to partners that include: fleet cards, payroll cards, gift cards, spiff cards, HSA cards, FSA cards, purchasing cards, government disbursement cards, insurance cards, promotion or rebate cards, disaster payment cards and even private label cards.

1)CBKC (Central Bank of Kansas City) ACH Project:

CBKC bank deposit money via ACH method into the funding account of TransCard. In this project, CBKC wants the credit and debit financial details per month. I have created multiple reports for CBKC bank to obtain various types of financial data per month (i.e. Monthly ACH Report, Transaction History Report, Rejection Report, etc.)

Responsibilities:

Evaluates moderately complex requirements and creates detailed business requirements and technical specifications. Analyzes impact to other reports and processes.

Involved in full Systems Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) to produce high quality applications.

Create table for CBKC Project, apply the index on table, and add relationship with existing table in database.

Create data dictionary for database table with detail table description.

Design and develop the SSIS packages to insert the data into OLTP database from the flat file source.

Configured the flat file as data source then convert the data type using the Data conversation transformation, apply conditional split transformation to split the data into two destination table.

Create the Stored Procedure based on user requirement and obtain the data.

Using the Stored Procedure, create the report in SSRS 2005. We created the Dataset for each report, sub group report, implement drilldown option, and apply header and footer.

Apply the static parameter and also add null option in parameter.

Create the chart report.

Rendering the reports to different formats and Cleansing the Data for CSV and Excel.

Managing the Report Server contents with Admin privileges and Report Manager for Subscriptions, Snapshots and Security Content on the reports.

2)US Bank Reports:

U.S. Bank bought TransCard's fuel card division, which uses technology designed to help truck drivers pay negotiated prices at fuel stops. U.S. Bank will provide an unparalleled solution for U.S. Xpress. I have created multiple reports for US Bank.

Responsibilities:

Gathering the requirement from client and create the detail design.

Designed and implemented new tables needed in the implementation.

Developed new Sub Reports, Matrix Reports, Charts, Drilldown reports, using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

Responsible for creating parameterized reports in SSRS.

Export report’s result in Excel file.

Wrote queries to generate reports for analysis of data using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
