Responsible for directing, coordinating and supervising activities relative to the utilization and storage of bagasse, coal, firewood, wood chips & repair works in the boiler during shift. Maintenance of discipline, motivates and trains subordinates for greater productivity.

-Reads and analyzes log records, receive information from outgoing shift to determine status of operations, breakdowns of stoppages of equipment.

-Check the presence of subordinates, personnel, gives instructions and relays special communication.

-Regularly checks the conditions of all boilers.

-Maintains proper and correct operations of boilers in order to attain the maximum efficiency and that all precautionary measures be attended for safe boiler operations at all times.

-Make decisions in cases of emergency, breakdowns and interruptions and sees to it that the operations are resumed with minimum delay

Repair includes boiler auxiliaries, ash handling system, belt conveyors and chain conveyors, valves, piping system and cleaning of boiler internal and external parts.
