From Nov, 1989 to July 1992 worked during peak of militancy in Punjab and Jammu& Kashmir states in Aug,1996 toDec,2000. My job was to ensure FIGHTING-FIT Standard of entire battalion where I was posted. Selecting among them candidates fit to be inducted for ‘Black Cat Commandos’, Un-armed Combat Courses’, Mob-disposal &Smoke screen management, Light Weapons & Ammunition training course, Earth-quake & floods rescue training course.

Medical coverage to Mob management injuries to my battalion personnel. During demolition of disputed-site (Babri Mosque/Ram Temple) at Ayodhya, UP –State. During Late Prime Minister RAJIV GHANDHI pre-assassination my unit was deployed to collect intelligence on the conspiracy at Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu State) Provided Medical relief to all affected by Cloud-burst at Chandan Bari (J&K) during annual pilgrimage of Shri Amarnath Yatra-1996.

Witnessed & participated in containing MILITANCY in Jammu & Kashmir from 1996 to 2000.Provided medical coverage psychological morale to all ranks & sub-ordinate of the battalion. Immediate relief & rescue operation triggered in case of any terrorist/militant attacks on our personnel. Personally attended all the brave injured men/women in such incidents and arranged transport of seriously injured personnel by road/rail/air duly escorted by competent medical team to nearest available well equipped Hospital.

Regular follow-up action in consultation with treating team of doctors at the refereed Hospital for their speedy recovery. Initiating medical–board proceedings for such individuals who suffer permanent disability to the extent of his/her physical/psychological in-ability to perform active field-duties. Arranging & ensuring sufficient stock of medicines & other hospital consum-able items.
