Development of Project HSE Plans and its approved copy communication to the execution team and its implementation at project.

Attend the Tool Box Talk, safety meetings with the consultants/clients/Subcontractor if required

Commissioning safety Measures must be taken but Commissioning Manager will ensure full compliance with the requirements of procedures of construction and commissioning activities within their area of responsibility.

Arrange for External trainings for employees who need externally approved certifications.

Conduct timely Mock drills for the employees at the project for the emergencies identified as in the Emergency Response and Preparedness Plan.

Ensure implementation of the work permit system for high risk involved works.

Manage & Maintains Calibration & 3rd Party certifications records for Men, Machineries and Accessories in works projects and maintain and tracker register for each

Identify the high risk activities and plan the control measures together with the project manager.

Maintain the safety relevant documents

Ensure the issuing and correct use of Personnel Protective Equipments.

Guide the incident investigation team in case of major incident, dangerous occurrence and prepare the incident report. Find out the root cause of incident and suggest the remedial measure to prevent the reoccurrence of the incident.

Assist the Project Manager and the construction team in handling emergency situations and implement the emergency preparedness plan.

Conduct the safety toolbox talks on a weekly basis for first line supervisors, engineers, etc. and assist them in conducting toolbox talk to the entire workforce.

Conduct safety inductions and record the attendance.

Ensure that the first aid room is available, sufficiently equipped and maintain the inventory of the first aid room and the first aid boxes.

Make sure that appropriate type fire extinguishers/equipment is in place and in working condition.

Issue safety violations / observations / improvement notices.
