As a recent graduate from Bridgevalley Community and Technical College’s diagnostic medical ultrasound program, I participated in clinical rotations which allowed me the opportunity to gain hands on experience in over 500 ultrasound examinations, as well as, independently prove competency in thirty-five various ultrasound examinations at several regional clinical sites. Each clinical site offered unique opportunities to observe and participate in everything from vascular and abdominal examinations to obstetrics and gynecological examinations. My interest is peaked in vascular ultrasound, therefore, I am currently studying to take my ARDMS vascular exam. I would love the opportunity to cross-train into cardiovascular if the opportunity arises. I am excited to professionally utilize the knowledge and experience I have gained and am looking forward to learning, growing, and helping others.
