Projects:

Mega ATV championship:

I participated as a team in Mega ATV championship for which we designed, done load and stress analysis and finally manufactured an ATV (All-terrain vehicle). I have done my part in manufacturing process of the vehicle

DC Casting (in process):

The direct-chill (DC) casting process has been used for the production of large ingots and billets of nonferrous alloys. The molten aluminum is poured into a water-cooled mold whose bottom is closed initially by a starter block. The starter block is then withdrawn steadily at the casting speed pulling down with it the solid shell. Once the shell exits the bottom of the mold, it is cooled rapidly by a direct spray of water that extracts most of the heat from the ingot. The casting process continues until an ingot with a desired height is produced. I have done design of a DC Caster.

Analysis of stresses acting on bone in Coxa valga condition:

Coxa valga defined as femoral neck shaft angle being greater than 139degrees. This lengthens the limb, reduces the effectiveness of the abductors, increases the load on the femoral head and reduces the load on the femoral neck. This appears due to femoral ante torsion which gives appearance of increased neck shaft angle. We have used Ansys 18.1 to study the force analysis and deformation in the femur bone in this case (COXA VALGA@145º).
