I am a design graduate of the Art Institute of Orange County.

My skills include advanced Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, layout, illustration, and digital photography. I have a very strong passion for graphic design with a natural ability to execute creative ideas, artistic vision, and concepts through various media, mediums, shapes, colors, and images. I strive to create aesthetically pleasing, functional, appropriate, and timeless design. I feel very confident in my abilities as a designer and creative. I am an intuitive self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills. I am a diligent worker who seeks opportunities that challenge my creativity. I am goal oriented, results driven, outgoing, kind, respectful, and hard working. Responsibilities: Concepts design, graphic production, logo and corporate identity, product photography, and product packaging. My time at Geared has taught me real world skills and execution. Our clients range from upscale franchise restaurants to global corporations. My task vary from print work to application design. I have learned a tremendous amount in the field o f d esign, business, a nd print. Working at Geared has given me the confidence to handle and meet the needs both graphically and professionally in the design field in which I am passionate about. Responsibilities: Package, concept, accessory, branding, and logo design. I wore many hats in my very productive and fruitful time at House of Sillage. Working for a high end luxury brand such as HOS allowed me to explore my creativity, to be bold and innovative. Bi-weeky design meetings and presentations tuned my ability to execute and research in both concept and design. I had the oppertunity to not only design, but to work hand in hand with production sourcing materials and vendors for the various designs and products we produced. I recently attended Luxe Pack in Monaco, and the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes France. I feel these oppertunties and experiences in design, produation, and lifestyle are all assets and qualities in which I carry with me as a person, a proffesional, and as a designer. Responsibilities: Product photography, weekly sales flyers, catalog design, asset management, image manipulation, touch-ups and corrections. During my time at Troy Lee Designs I became a well-rounded jack of all trades. One of my primary roles at Troy Lee Designs was in-house product photography. Tasks included, setting and arranging studio lights, camera tethering, server uploading and post production corrections. Quarterly catalog production design included, asset management, photo placement, catalog design, and var- ious InDesign inputs and corrections. My time at Troy Lee Designs has been one of my most influential, productive, and inspirational experiences as an employed designer. I can’t say enough praise for the team I worked closely with and the amount of insight, wisdom, and skills I’ve gained, all of which I retain to this day. JOEL
