RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Professional Parts Group - Atlanta, GA - 11/2017 – Current
General Manager
Directing the daily operations at the Professional Parts Group distribution center in the greater Atlanta area, our focus on servicing the niche market of specialized automotive collision repair parts has experienced accelerated growth. Implementing a dedicated effort to partner with local customers has rendered significant gains in my first 6 months at the facility. Developing better lines of communication with procurement team identifying deficiencies in inventory levels has ignited our replenishment efforts that have become a notable improvement at the shop level. Initiated inter-company daily transfer process that has broadened our product offering, enhancing not only our growth in that time but supporting regional growth. Daily dispatch of twice-a-day deliveries to the greater metro area supplemented by dedicated overnight deliveries to partnered shops has stimulated a new customer interest in having their product available and ready upon opening the facility. Developing this partnership and model has rendered significant efficiencies in delivery times, shop repair times, along with reductions in variable delivery expenses.
Key Accomplishments
Implement daily inspection protocol to render 17% rate of return – a 19% location improvement.
Restructure daily delivery times and departure schedules to better meet customer expectations.
Develop efforts to improve inventory levels and accuracy – a 24% rate of increase in inventory value.
Oversee implementation of regional distribution shuttle to fortify regional growth.
