PROFILE

My last fourteen years have been working with adults as an ABE/GED/HSE and ESL Instructor. I am a computer literate with experience in MS Word, Excel. My students are using MyGed, Burlington, Virtual Jobs Shadow, and Plato.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

ESL– Working as an adult education instructor, providing English instruction to classes or individual students. Teaching students skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing English.

ABE/GED/HSE –Instructing students in the areas of math, science, writing, reading and social studies, the five areas covered in the GED/HSE tests. I create learning program for each student. I also evaluate or test students, both formally and informally to determine if students are progressing. I assist students with improving critical thinking, problem solving, information processing, and communication skills.

Information System Specialist – Liaison between the operating companies and corporation IS Department. Assist in system design, testing and follow-up support.

Analyst – Developed, implemented, and maintained SQR/Business Objects reports that are constructed from Oracle base data. Consulted with customers regarding the specifics of these reports. Trouble Shoot user networking issues. Trouble Shoot Oracle 3.5 forms issues. Responsible for AFE system; assisted in AP, AR, GL, TP, payroll, tax and labor systems.

Programmer– Designed, implemented, and installed software packages for the Marketing Department. Helped design, develop and implement the company’s retain software packed. Used COBOL, Basic, and Dbase on IBM equipment. Collected and analyzed statistical data for taxation purpose; generated and interpreted reports based on the data collected. Used COBOL on Honeywell equipment.
