I transitioned to the Practice Manager position.
I received information on 6/28/18 that I have been released from that position.

I started as a Receptionist for Family Practice on the 2nd floor.
My duties were to check patients in, update demographics, insurance and all other paperwork necessary, keep the waiting room tidy and to help patients and coworkers.
In 2000 I became 2nd floor Supervisor.
My duties were to make sure the floor ran smooth from organizing coverage schedules for coworkers, keeping coworkers current on any new or updated information, editing and approving timesheets for the 2nd floor coworkers, assisting physicians with any secretarial needs.
In 2010, I became the Office Manager for Norman Clinic, Inc.
My duties were to make sure that all coworkers followed Norman Clinic policies and guidelines, establish efficient workflows between all departments, edit and approve timesheets for all coworkers, work with Supervisors and physicians to make sure that all new and updated information gets to everyone. I made sure that physicians have all the tools they need to do their job efficiently. I was responsible for making sure that all medical and office supplies were ordered and submitted invoices to Norman Clinic’s Accountant for payment. I communicated with Norman Clinic, Inc. attorneys regarding physician and nurse practitioner contracts as well as assisting Norman Clinic, Inc. when a physician or nurse practitioner was arriving or leaving Norman Clinic, Inc. I was responsible for providing financial information for Norman Clinic, Inc. monthly Board Meetings for the physicians and presenting that information during the meetings as well as answering any questions they would have. I planned all Norman Clinic, Inc.’s special activities from Christmas parties, summer activities as well as any office activities to boost morale, create fun in the workplace and teambuilding skills. I was responsible for hiring and firing of coworkers with approval from the physicians. There were too many other duties I had as the Office Manager that are too many to list.

I was co-owner of this business. My store supplied Decorative Painting supplies for the Norman community, offered extensive Decorative Painting classes for the public from Kids’ classes, Beginner to Advanced painters. I taught painting classes with a National Paint company to promote their products.
