Front Desk Receptionist/Customer Service: Answer all incoming phone calls and respond to membership requests for information or transfer caller to appropriate party; review voice mail messages and follow up with inquiries; answer questions from the public and provide helpful information on Sierra Club activities; reply to email requests and other inquiries or forward email to appropriate party; perform in-depth research for specific requests on relevant environmental concerns or to resolve membership issues; sort and handle incoming mail or packages; send out print requests.
Program Assistant to the Director of Angeles Chapter. Assignments include: Calendar scheduling; modifying and upgrading the Angeles Chapter website; inputting data for upcoming events or outdoor activities; updating and enhancing travel adventures section (an important fundraiser).
