Project in Diploma
Project: Fan regulator by hand injecton mould
Description: In injection moulding, hand moulds refer to simple moulds that have no provision for heat, cooling, or ejection. This means when a hand mould is cycled universal heating plates are required to warm the moulds and the moulds must be removed after each cycle to remove the mouldings. This drastically increases the cycle time, which limits it to short runs, but to offset this is the low cost of the mould. They are usually single cavity moulds, but may be multi-cavity if the moulding is quite small. They are usually only of a two or three plate design because of the simplicity of the parts. If only a short run is required then the moulds may be made from mild steel or d3 materials, but if more parts are required then they are made from conventional steels
Project in B.E
Mini project:
Principle and Working of an Hydraulic brake
Description:
A hydraulic brake is an arrangement of braking mechanism which uses brake fluid, typically containing glycol ethers or diethylene glycol, to transfer pressure from the controlling mechanism to the braking mechanism
Major Project:
Fabrication and Mechanical Properties of Hybrid Natural Fiber (jute\banana\galss)
Description:
The natural fibre composites are finds vital role in research and engineering application. The natural fibres such as banana, sisal, bamboo, jute, coir, linen etc have high strength, specific strength, better dimensional stability and mechanical properties, eco-friendly, availability, low cost and biodegradable as compared with synthetic fibres. This project shows the fabrication and experimental property study on jute/banana/glass fibres reinforced hybrid composites. The results of the mechanical properties such as tensile strength, impact strength and flexural strength are reported. Three different layers of the hybrid composites are fabricated by hand layup method. The test was carried out using the universal testing machining and Charphy impact machine as per the ASTM standard. It has been observed that the jute-glass-banana fibres reinforced hybrid composites shows superior properties and used as an alternate material for synthetic fiber reinforced composite materials.
