CAREER OBJECTIVE

I have been associated with organizations that have given me ample scope to apply my skills set, have provided me with opportunities to keep my knowledge and skills abreast with the latest trends. Presently I am associated with Tata Steel Ltd as Manager-Central Electrical Maintenance and earlier I was associated with “Aditya Birla Group” as Section Head-Electrical of power generation unit at Jharkhand. My objective is to be associated with organizations that would give me more rich experience and help in gaining expertise. MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES HANDLED

Planning, scheduling and execution of strategy based maintenance like preventive maintenance, shutdown maintenance, major maintenance and CAPEX projects within stipulated frame of quality, cost and time to ensure 100% availability and highest possible efficiency of plant auxiliaries and equipment.

Applying condition based predictive maintenance & taking proactive action to prevent failure of system.

Preparation of annual planning and budget estimation for Normal-maintenance, Major-Maintenance and CAPEX projects followed by obtaining management’s approval for final budget.

Monitoring & controlling expenses of the department regularly throughout the year to achieve budgetary target.

Vendor development, comparing Techno-commercial offer, Negotiation with vendors and finalization of contract by analyzing Techno-commercial aspects and quality of services.

Dealing with state electricity board for ensuring availability and quality of grid power and tariff settlement.

Ensuring quality & timely delivery of major spares and services as per order, for smooth & efficient functioning.

Monitoring and maintaining availability of critical spares and tools for maintenance within minimal inventory cost.

Reduction in maintenance cost by adopting various initiatives and utilization of waste.

Identification and implementation of improvement projects to ensure continuous improvement in system.

Preparation of energy balance sheet for generation, consumption & Import/Export to state grid.

Identification and implementation of energy saving schemes to minimize auxiliary power consumption of plant.

Tracking of MTBF & MTTR, maintaining history card of critical auxiliary equipments, analysis of breakdown by using management tools and implementation of corrective and preventive action.

Compliance of ISO, OHSAS and WCM practices to achieve world class quality standards.

Compliance of best SAFETY practices in day to day job activities, conducting micro level safety audit and implementation of best safety culture to achieve 100% safe work environment.

Team management and assigning responsibility effectively to get optimum productivity from team.

TECHNICAL SKILS

Operation and Maintenance of generator and it’s auxiliary excitation system.

Automation system for digital Synchronization and Load sharing/shading.
