Manage the purchase and delivery of $4-5 million of stock monthly while meeting company net working capital goals and on-time shipping objectives, primarily as a Tier 1 automotive supplier in the US and Mexico. Successfully managed the growth of imported items from 100 to nearly 400 in 5+ years. Started as an entry-level warehouse clerk, involving myself in a variety of tasks and responsibilities. Offered Warehouse Shift Supervisor position within 6 months, followed by a progression to Warehouse Manager within 18 months. Helped lead the company thru an aggressive growth campaign (from a regional diaper supplier to a national supplier) that increased the warehouse and shipping volume ten-fold in 5 years. Developed cost-saving and efficiency improvements in customer service, freight costs, and recycling, to name a few. I was assigned the production planning team, providing leadership and guidance as the plant capacity doubled. Led the Marion facility team in the implementation of the WMS/bar-code system. Coordinated the needs of the facility with the corporate objectives and the platform provider. Given corporate responsibilities as the national supply system grew, working with US and Puerto Rico facilities to improve distribution efficiencies.
