Identify & Implement continuous improvement projects in the area of Operation leading to cost reduction/improved performance.

Various Improvement Projects undertaken are as mentioned below:

oReduction of Specific Coal Consumption below the BP Target of 438 gm/kwh.

oReduction of Specific Water Consumption below BP target.

oReduction of Air Consumption in the plant by installing of Pressure Regulators.

oInstallation of Load Shed Relay (LSR) to minimize the Turbine tripping on Low Trip Oil Pressure on load fluctuations.

oOnline Heat Balance Diagram (HBD) for online losses calculation of the Turbine and Boiler.
