1.Purchase Analysis: Analyse and evaluate Quotations/Proposals from various suppliers in terms of commercial and technical for electrical commodity like switchgears, transformer and for mechanical commodity like AL and SS fabrication components, machined components, hardware, rubber parts and polycarbonate components, Insulators etc.

2.Purchase Orders: Release purchase order in system to the selected supplier and ensures accuracy of SAP in terms of commercial conditions and supplier lead times according to production schedule. Follow-up with suppliers for order acknowledgement and register in system.

3.Problem Solving: Investigates root cause for material rejection along with SQA and manage NCR tasks of procurement, decision for charge back to vendor, provide suggestion to vendor for process improvement.

4.Bid Input: Provide Input to bid team in terms of TCO and EXW Price and Commitment for price reduction of selected commodity to reduce overall price of product.

5.Vendor Management: Contributes to vendor management by providing Supplier Performance data in terms of on time delivery and number of NC alert generated for Quality of material on monthly basis

6. Shipments: Co-ordinate with Logistic & Supplier for on-time arrival of shipments. Ensure that material reaches site without any damage and with all supporting shipment documents.

7.Invoice Handling: Check supplier invoice as per Purchase Order before providing road permit. Solve invoice and GRN related issue for received goods.

8.Vendor Development: As a part of strategic sourcing, to get cost reduction for upcoming project develop new vendors. Conduct SEAP Audit along with SQA.

9.Project end analysis: Analyse Total material bought, Total consumption and total rejection and scrap and take preventive action in upcoming project to maximize the profit. Transfer extra available material in Project WBS to Warranty & Spare WBS.

10.Inventory: Weekly check inventory & consumption along with Production planning and maintain as per organization’s inventory guideline to support cash flow management.
