DDNi built a user experience solution for computer manufacturers and suppliers with a complete lifecycle management platform. The technology enables customized user interface design, network infrastructure, world class partnerships, marketing, and data collection. The analyzed data drives a personalized user experience through a narrowcast communication channel, and delivers incremental revenue and profit. This platform was deployed by Lenovo, Sony, Samsung, Intel, and others to promote products and services from dozens of brand names and advertisers.

Led 26-member team of developers, IT, accounting, QA, project managers, and consultants, driving continuous operational improvements, building a global infrastructure, and tracking overall corporate performance at Board level. Built all financial processes and controls, including financial planning, financial modeling, ROI analytics, KPI dashboards, Board financial reporting package. Privately financed, consumer-oriented e-commerce startup. The technology was an OEM-customized Microsoft Windows startup sequence, offering alternative world class partnerships, tied to a private network infrastructure. Preloaded on a new PC, the user experience collected user data, included a fully integrated ecommerce engine, and delivered incremental revenue and profit throughout the lifecycle of each device.

Hand-selected by the CEO as one of the first hires of this private software company. As the financial leader, worked to develop the financial forecasting models and worked with the CEO to secure financing. Built the accounting, financial and administrative functions from the ground up, and oversaw Finance, IT, HR, Legal, Investor Relations, and Facilities. Drove a financial system conversion from Quickbooks to MS Dynamics after expanding internationally.

Early Career

Formative years as a Financial Analyst at Seagate Technology instilled deep understanding of the role of sales and marketing, particularly within the context of a $2 billion+ publicly-held manufacturing and distribution organization. Earned promotions from Financial Analyst role to Controller within several years based on proficiency in cost accounting, financial system implementation, metric development, and cost control systems. Years with both public and startup enterprises in hardware, software, and semiconductor sectors shaped executive strategies and additional skills ranging from M & A due diligence, capital management, infrastructure implementation, contract negotiation, and strategic market analysis.
