I have authored and published several articles on the Internet i.e. ( “The Decline of Senior Health Care in the United States” ) Guest lecturer at Robert Morris University. I have contributed and been cited for providing quantifiable material for publications that are currently submitted for print. (trade journals and books) .
I am an excellent trainer and I have always been known by management, clients and vendors as someone with exceptional people skills, instincts and expertise for what will work. SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Built successful startup organizations. Identified an opportunity to start up American Staffing, A-Pro Property Management, LLC. A-Pro Telecommunications, LLC. and others. Created the branding and implemented the procedures to initiate operations, sales and marketing strategies. Became profitable within first three months. Established accounts and company infrastructure. Opened three additional locations in Colorado and Georgia within three years.
Drove franchise and independent operations to national recognition. Upon purchase of an Express Personnel Services franchise, it was discovered that company Workers’ Comp had been misclassified, leading to numerous risk issues. Shut down all operations, restructured workers comp and reopened. Received national recognition for mitigating risk and driving revenue increases.
Reduced client Workers’ Comp claims. Provided regular counseling for clients who experienced massive claims for on-site injuries. They benefited via regular QA meetings with safety policy facilitators and production managers. Ensured that all employees received safety and equipment training. Minimize Workers’ Compensation claims and reduce insurance premiums, increasing client revenues.
Assumed payroll for struggling competitor. Competitor purchased company with national presence and could not manage to all sites. Collaborated with new owner and reviewed P&L and regulatory requirements. Converted all employees to American Staffing. Realized lower insurance rates and reduced group rates for Healthcare.
CAREER HISTORY
Principal, American Staffing & Personnel Services, 2000 to 2010. As owner and operator, managed and directed all aspects of $2.5M staffing operations in multiple locations in CO. Trained and tested internal staff as well as contingent workforce. Direct responsibility for P&L. Oversaw staff of 350. Sold company for significant profit.
Principal, Express Personnel Services of Colorado Springs, 1994 to 2000. Owned and operated $1M franchise staffing services with P&L responsibility. Ensured compliance with corporate office policies and procedures. Trained internal and external employees. Delivered technical training for clients. Led staff of 375.
Military / Commercial Technical Sales Director, Southwest Aero Services, Tulsa OK: 1992 to 1994, Developed programs to implement new R&D projects centered around the application of tungsten carbide coatings on airfoil surface and turbine engine components to minimize abrasive wear and scrapage. Developed and implemented methodologies for coating structural wing sections using HVOF systems to decrease maintenance costs or airframe maintenance on commercial aircraft and minimize AOG situations
Director of Technical Sales and R&D Projects, TK International Tulsa OK, 1989 to1992, Developed and implemented new product development projects on hot section cases of jet engines. Provided engineering / field support concerning the repair ability of engines and components for customers. Developed programs and procedures for the machining of aircraft structural components on tactical military aircraft and components using electron beam welding and advanced machining processes (Wire EDM) requiring tolerances less that .002 Presented at trade conferences and OEM conferences.
Field Support Engineer, Aerospace Resource Manufacturing, Ft Walton Beach Fl, 1985 to 1989, Provided field engineering support for military aircraft at Eglin AFB. Provided technical support for the manufacture of equipment and hardware to support the maintenance of aircraft systems as well as ground support equipment. Developed logistical support for aircraft readiness and mission essential hardware for aircrew life support.
Sales Engineer, Chromalloy, Ft Walton Beach, FL 1982 to1985, Aerospace Resource Mfg, Ft. Walton Beach, Fl, 1985 to 1989. TKI, Tulsa OK 1989 to 1994 Developed engineering documents (Process and Procedures) to support the manufacture and repair of jet engine hot section repairs. Prepared catalogs of repair capabilities and provide detailed pedigrees and linear progression charts of replacement and exchangeable parts to prevent AOG’s in the commercial engine market. Maintained rotable inventories for primary accounts in support of JIT delivery systems.

I hold a current private pilot certificate ( MEL, IFR), Advanced Diving Certification (NAUI) Sky Diving, Licensed in five states as an Auctioneering with a designation of Colonel (Nashville Auction School). I am a Master Mason (AFAAM Manitou Lodge 68) I enjoy all outdoor sports including camping, fishing, hiking, skiing and building radio controlled aircraft with my sons. Additionally, I am active in community activities and support local charities. I regularly engage with the Chamber of Commerce and forums concerning city government. I am open to relocation and extensive travel if required.
