MRI TECHNOLOGIST, PART TIME, NORCAL, EMERYVILLE ADVANCED IMAGING
JUNE 2016 PRESENT
Working with lead MRI Technologist, John Thornton, honed and refined job related skills. I have consistently been obtaining quality images as directed by the radiologists by using appropriate technical factors and scanning techniques, also administering contrast medium when appropriate. I consistently ensure safety of patients by utilizing safety procedures according to ACR. I strive to ensure patient screening form is completed, safely transfer patient to MRI equipment, properly positioned patients, explaining the procedure to them as well as maintaining good communication with them throughout the exam in the required timeframe. Troubleshooting equipment problems occurs more frequently on older magnets and when necessary I have reported to the proper personnel for repair. I have learned to utilize ancillary equipment appropriately, PACS, laser camera, MedRad power injector and various monitors. MRI TECHNOLOGIST, SILICON VALLEY MEDICAL IMAGING September
