As a Server at Shells, I made sure that my customers had an enjoyable experience by understanding their needs and communicating with other staff to deliver the best possible service. I followed up to ensure my customer’s food came out on time and that all their needs were constantly met. I became one of the top servers in sales by promoting our seasonal specialties. I also trained new servers to ensure the company’s standards were understood and met by the new hires. My employment at Shells allowed me to fund 80% of my living expenses while in college.

SALES ASSOCIATE/JOURNEYS

February 2015 – November 2015

As a Sales Associate at Journeys, I was responsible for achieving my weekly sales quota in shoes, backpacks and accessories. I was also accountable to receive new shipments of merchandise and verify the invoices. I maintained and organized the stock room to ensure merchandise could be quickly located and reordered as needed.
