DAVE – Database Application for Vital Events is a web based Electronic Vital Records System designed to meet NCHS guidelines. This product is currently used by over 10K employees in six states to register the following events: Birth, Death, Fetal Death, ITOP, Marriage and Divorce.

Develop the Test Plan for the implementation of hosting DAVE for new clients including Testing Scope, Logistics of the Testing Design & Process, Assignment Details and Performance tracking as a Test Lead.

Conduct web services testing to incorporate the interface between third party vendors and DAVE by creating xml data files, using APIs to import the files into DAVE, validating the data in DAVE and providing the results back to the third party vendor.

Create the Release Notes for DAVE releases, interim DAVE hot fix releases, and new modules of DAVE for all clients.

Used ALM for creating manual test scripts; Selenium IDE plugin for creating and executing automated test scripts, JIRA for reporting, re-testing and closing defects based on SRS, functional specifications, and print rules for the state specific requirements.

Conducted GUI testing and end-to-end testing of client requirements, business use cases, and JIRA validation.

Execute SQL queries in MS-SQL Server for back-end verification, retrieval of test data for UI verification and Reports.

Created the process flow diagrams, mockup screens for client-specific enhancements, test case scenarios and test scripts for the new onboarding client

Assist Project Management and Business Analyst Teams with creation/verification of Functional Specifications, User’s Manuals and other supporting documents for all clients by providing updates to the technical documents using Microsoft SharePoint application.
