Health Information Management, Blessing Hospital Quincy, IL May 2014 – July 2018

Responsible for creating and maintaining the electronic medical record by utilizing electronic health information document imaging systems to ensure records are readily available for patient care and other requests. Day to day duties included preparing the paper records to be placed electronically, along with quality review to ensure that all data was accurate when placed on the electronic record. Along with attention to detail, achieving a high level of customer service is a key aspect to my role when working with clinical staff and physicians in order to provide the documents needed upon request. I also led a small project of converting hundreds of thousands of paper documents into electronic form for a newly inquired clinic by Blessing Hospital. Training team members on electronic systems, being the point of contact for any questions or concerns, as well as coming up with processes that allowed for the project to continue on path and be completed by the deadline we just a few of the responsibilities.

Royal Refrigeration, Moscow Mills, MO March 2016- Present

Record keeping for the HVAC Company includes but not limited to billing invoices, managing service orders, and managing inventory. I helped implement the record keeping into electronic form by setting up an account for Facility Source that is where we upload invoices to, create an excel workbook to keep track of billing as well as payment due dates, also creating an inventory page that outline what each customer needs for parts for example the make, model, filter sizes and belt sizes. This allowed employees for easier and quicker access to the information while on site.

Provided floors and other clinical areas with necessary supplies on a daily basis in order to achieve a high level of patient care. Routine quality checks to make sure no inventory was out of date or expired as well as ensuring there was a complete stock on hand. Marked items received in electronic purchasing system.
