I did three times work experience which was started on 3 march 2017, 23-24 September 2017, 05 december 2017,. Each for about two days. I worked with the Deck department. I assisted with the normal officer duties, which included preparing for the voyage, watchkeeping duties, familiarization of navigation equipments, and maintenance of life saving equipments and fire fighting appliances on board. This experiences confirmed my long held ambition for a seafaring career, and also my wish to work within the Deck Department, as I found the hands on nature of the job to be extremely satisfying.
